My Story:
I was born and raised in Knoxville, where I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee. I always had a passion to help others, but it was not until I worked in a volunteer position at my church, where I realized my passion for kids and family structures. I was assigned a group of teenage girls that I followed throughout the next 4 years. I met with them both individually and as a group on a weekly basis discussing struggles in all aspects of their lives. I later took on a more challenging position in a psychiatric hospital working with both children and adults. Seeing these families, I always felt that a lot of their struggles could improve with family coaching. Since starting in this practice in the Summer of 2013, I have gotten married and had two little girls and another little one is on the way, which I feel have added a tremendous amount of experience to what I gained through my education in counseling and previous work experiences.
